Adroit Consult International was contracted by Transcultural Psychosocial Organization (TPO) Uganda to document stories of change among refugees in Lamwo-Palabek and Bidibidi, Yumbe District.

With the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the East African region, there is an urgent need for mental health interventions to address the trauma and suffering experienced by refugees. TPO Uganda’s work is focused on mental health and psychosocial support. It has been providing these critical services to displaced and vulnerable communities since 1994.

IMPACT EVALUATION OF THE IFC-GRAINPULSE SMALLHOLDER FARMER ADVISORY PROJECT-2023

Adroit Consult International undertook the impact evaluation of the IFC-Grain pulse advisory project between 2019 and 2023.
The overall objective of the project was to increase the adoption and adequate application of high-quality agri inputs, especially Grain pulse blended fertilizer, to improve smallholder productivity and revenues, and thereby increase the client’s local sourcing of grains. To achieve this, the project supported Grain pulse in developing and implementing a smallholder farmer extension program and strengthening its last-mile distribution system. The project was implemented in Amuru District Northern Uganda (Maize), Kween District Eastern Uganda (Coffee and Barley), Mityana District Central Uganda (Beans and Coffee) and Kikuube District in Western Uganda (Maize and Beans) and focused on different targets crops for each district

MONITORING, EVALUATION AND LEARNING CONSULTANCY FOR THE PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN MGH, MUST &MRRH-2024

Between March and August 2024, Adroit Consult International conducted this impact evaluation for the Partnership between Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST), and Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital (MRRH). The engagement focused on (1) a partnership evaluation for the most recent years (2018-2024); and (2) the development of a conceptual framework for partnerships to highlight impact, shared values, program focus areas, goals, and outcomes of the partnership. CONSULTANCY SERVICES TO CO-BUILD WITH THE COMMUNITY LOW-COST FLOOD-RESILIENT TRIBUTARIES IN THE KIGGUNDU AND SEBINA ZONES OF MAKERERE KAVULE – KAMPALA 2024

Adroit Consult International is proud to have been contracted by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to contribute to a community-led initiative aimed at mitigating flooding and waste management in the Makerere Kavule area of Kampala, Uganda.
Despite efforts by the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) to improve drainage infrastructure, flooding remains a persistent problem in several city suburbs.
